MWW2021 opens on Saturday, 2 October, with the traditional collective toast that kicks off the Milanese wine week. A multi-location event that this year features high altitude sparkling wine from Trentodoc, on the rooftops of 3 swank Milanese venues, to wish the very best restart to the winemaking sector and a return to sharing great moments together.

WINE DISTRICTS
Going out in Milan and finding yourself in the most famous winemaking districts of the entire country. That’s the magic of the 10 Wine Districts, with some of the most popular Milanese neighborhoods paired with important consortiums of Italian wine, featuring events, tastings, theme menus and much more.
PARTNER LOCATIONS
Milano Wine Week teams up with some of the most important agencies, institutions and agribusiness sector players that market and promote Italian flagship products, whose headquarters will be actively involved during the event.
BRAND LOCATIONS
With hundreds of participating companies, MWW2021 will “invade” the locations and outlets of the sponsor brands with appointments, special events and promotional initiatives targeting the public of the Milanese wine week.

Over 600 locations, including restaurants, wine shops, wine bars and other places where wine is enjoyed, which will propose events and theme-based initiatives designed to reveal the infinite possibilities of fine Italian wine, accompanied by food, music, culture and more.

SLOW WINE @ MWW2021
PRESENTATION of the SLOW WINE GUIDE
The eleventh edition of the Slow Wine 2022 Italian wine guide by Slow Food will be unveiled this year at MWW2021.
For the occasion, on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th October from 12pm to 7pm, at Megawatt Court in Milan, there will be the biggest wine tasting of the year: Slow Wine's Walk Around Tasting. A moment of meeting and tasting for enthusiasts, experts and winemakers.
More than 1,000 wines from wineries that have received recognition in the Slow Wine Guide 2022 will be tasted, accompanied by producers and Fisar sommeliers.
WINE TALKS AND SEMINARS
Storytelling, investigating and learning more about the world of wine through the words of some of its most influential protagonists. Because wine is not just about tasting, but has a centuries-old history that is passed over and renewed in the meeting and exchange between wine lovers, professionals, and outstanding leaders inside and outside the sector.

How do you pair wine and food, two cornerstones of Italian gastronomic culture and lifestyle? We’ll find out, thanks to demos by some celebrated international chefs, in a show cooking program hosted by Francesca Romana Barberini, television and radio presenter and author who is popularizing with enthusiasm the Italian food and wine heritage.

Berlucchi celebrates its 60th anniversary at MWW2021 with a special photography exhibition set up in Corso Vittorio Emanuele during the days of the event. A journey in images through the eyes of the pioneers of Franciacorta. A story that from the birth of the first bottle of Franciacorta, 60 years ago, takes you up to the present day, focusing on the cornerstones of a brand synonymous with Italian excellence all over the world.
WINE TOURS
Milan is not only the capital of Italian excellence: it is also a point of departure, from which to explore some of the most prestigious wine regions of Italy. A brand-new proposal for the MWW2021, the Wine Tours will connect the city with top wine destinations no more than 2 hours away from the center, positioning Milan as a hub of Italian wine tourism.
